In God’s eyes, we are so valuable that he even sent His son into this world for us. For Him, every person is a precious treasure that He wants to encounter. And He also wants to use you and your group for this purpose.

The treasure hunt is about asking God specifically which person (treasure) He wants to meet through you on this day, where this person can be found, how you recognise them (clothing or other characteristics) and what moves them. You write all these things down and then go in groups of 2-4 people to the places that God has shown you. When you find the person (treasure) you are looking for, speak to them like this: ‘Hello, this may sound crazy, but we are on a treasure hunt and we believe that you are our treasure!’ Then show them your lists and the things that apply to them. Let them know that God has led you to them, that God loves them and wants to bless them. These encounters lead to great conversations, you experience exciting things, learn about God’s work in a very practical way and can pass on his love.
