In addition, you as the data subject have numerous rights, about which we would also like to inform you. We provide you with this information on the basis of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 on the protection of individuals when processing personal data, on the free movement of data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EG, hereinafter referred to as DSGVO.

3 Principles of data processing
3.1 Legal Bases
3.1.1 General
We process your personal data based on the legal requirements of the DSGVO in the current version. In detail, we process your personal data:
within the framework of legal obligations,
as far as we need them to fulfill contracts that we have concluded with you,
insofar as they are required for pre-contractual measures (e.g. offers),
if you have given your consent,
within the scope of our legitimate interests, which include marketing and direct advertising, and to protect our legal rights.
3.1.2 Special Types of Personal Data
We would like to point out that we see ourselves as a religiously oriented organization within the meaning of Art. 9 Para. 2 lit. d) DSGVO. We are therefore also permitted to process special categories of personal data, such as religious or philosophical beliefs, provided these relate to our members or persons who are in regular contact with us as part of our activities. We treat this data with particular confidentiality and do not disclose it to the outside world without your explicit consent.

3.2 Sharing of Data
In principle, we do not pass on data to third parties unless you have consented to the transfer, we are obliged to do so by law, it is necessary to fulfill a contract with you or we commission external service providers to carry out tasks.
In this case, we ensure that our service providers provide sufficient guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place and that processing is in accordance with the DSGVO (Article 28 DSGVO). For this reason, we select such service providers very carefully.

3.3 Consents
3.3.1 Obtaining Consent
We obtain your consent to the processing of personal data – if necessary – electronically, in writing or verbally.
3.3.2 Withdrawal
You can revoke your consent once given at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. You can send your revocation to datenschutz@cfc.ch.
3.3.3 Legal Consequences of Withdrawal
Insofar as the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, we will terminate this as a result of your revocation. This may also mean that services you have purchased (e.g. newsletter) can no longer be provided.
3.3.4 Consent from children and adolescents
Our offers are also aimed at children and young people. We therefore ensure, within the scope of the technical and organizational possibilities, that consent given to the processing of a child’s personal data is in accordance with Art. 8 DSGVO.

3.4 Processing in third countries
We process your data primarily in Switzerland. An exception is the use of IT systems from partners and service providers that are operated in the USA or other third countries. In these cases, before we transfer your personal data, we ensure that there are appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data. The processing of your data in the USA takes place in accordance with Article 46 Para. 2 lit. c and d DSGVO on the basis of corresponding contracts using standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission. We will be happy to provide you with further information on this upon request.

3.5 Online Forms
If you use the online contact form on our website, your personal data will be forwarded to us by email. We ask you not to transmit any confidential information in this way, as we cannot ensure the protection of this information when transmitting unencrypted e-mails.

3.6 Storage and Deletion Periods
We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill your processing purpose or due to legal storage obligations.
Of course, your rights to deletion, blocking, restriction of processing or the right to be forgotten remain unaffected.

You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted in the following cases:

The right to data transfer only exists for data provided by you and requires that the processing takes place on the basis of consent or for the execution of a contract and is carried out using automated processes. The data transfer is subject to the rights and freedoms of other persons whose rights may be affected by the data transfer.
3.7.6 Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO)
